Renewable and Flexible Asset Manager
Join Reel to accelerate the renewable energy transition.
In a Nutshell
This is a foundational role. As our first Renewable and Flexible Asset Manager, you will take ownership of the performance and revenue oversight of the growing portfolio of renewable and flexible assets (wind, solar and BESS) we manage. You will sit between our Power Solutions, Trading and Electricity Operations teams, and be the main point of contact for our asset owners, making sure everything is running smoothly.
The role blends financial and analytical work: Invoices, revenue share calculations, performance data - with a growing technical and customer-facing dimension: you'll help ensure remote control setups work as intended, support assets through pre-qualification processes, and translate trading and market insights into terms asset owners can actually use. You'll be the person who catches discrepancies before they become problems, and just as importantly, the person owners call when something needs attention, keeping communication proactive, technical, and clear.
About Reel
Reel is building Europe's next-generation renewable energy platform, solving one of the biggest problems in today's energy markets: matching renewable supply with corporate demand. We're creating a new category by combining renewable energy optimization, a tech platform and tailored electricity supply solutions.
We rethink electricity from first principles to accelerate the shift to a carbon-free energy system - closing the gap between renewable producers and corporate consumers by enabling companies to increase the value of renewable energy, move beyond 'green claims' and achieve verifiable carbon reductions.
What your role will look like
Customer success and asset owner management : Serve as the primary point of contact for asset owners, keeping them proactively informed on asset performance and and translate trading and market insights into clear, practical updates on what's happening and what it means for them.
Pre-qualification support: Support asset owners through the pre-qualification processes required for their assets to participate in relevant markets, coordinating with our trading and technical teams to keep the process on track.
Performance reporting: Produce clear operational reports on asset performance for commercial and financial stakeholders.
Remote control oversight: Ensure remote control setups are functioning correctly across the portfolio, and coordinate with technical stakeholders and asset owners to diagnose and resolve issues when they aren't.
Performance monitoring: Monitor asset systems for availability, act on alarms and notifications when assets go down, and follow up until issues are resolved.
Internal alignment: Notify and collaborate with our electricity operations and trading team to continuously improve our billing, remote control and asset operations.
Financial management and billing: Proactively manage asset performance deviations, revenue share calculations, and making sure we settle and invoice our customers correctly.
Process development: Build and maintain processes for consistent asset management across the portfolio, from onboarding new assets through continuous improvement.
Contract management: Maintain contract compliance and ensure operational efficiency across all agreements.
